STATEMENT
Greater Manchester West is one of the regions smaller counties. Our County covers the local authority areas of Trafford and Salford. We are delighted that we are a very varied and diverse community. We work together to build communities so that our adults are well supported as they help the girls and young women in our care learn to plan and experience a very varied programme of activities. Our current long term project is developing our expertise in girl led guiding at all levels through out our community.
ACCOMMODATION
Ashley Activity Centre and Campsite, Mobberley - available all year round. Good quality accommodation for all ages. Caters for 28 people. Good cooking facilities. One large day/dining room. Large field for playing in. Well equipped with outdoor games, etc. Outdoor seating. Orienteering course.
Ashley Lodge – brand new accommodation will be opened in late 2009. Preference given for guides and the older girl. Can also be booked as wet weather accommodation for campers.
