ABOUT
I live in Warrington, Cheshire and I am an Assistant Brownie Guider and a Division Commissioner. I work with pre-school children who have additional needs and my hobbies are walking, card making, cross stitch and socialising with Guiding friends (often referred to as the ‘noisy Guiders’!).
ROLE
My role is to support the County Advisers in relation to residential experiences, offering support and answering any questions relating to camps, holidays and sleepovers. I will also be promoting residential qualifications and looking at how the trainings for these are delivered as well as looking at how we encourage leaders to keep their skills up-to-date with regard to residentials.
I work closely with the other members of the outdoor team and we are also hoping to put together an electronic directory of campsites and holiday houses.
