Alan and Janice live in Cark in Cartmel, Cumbria. They are both part of Cumbria South county and have been involved with guiding for over twenty years.

Alan is part of his local district team and helps out to support events and unit meetings, whilst Janice runs a guide unit and holds various positions within her division and her district.

They have been running First Response training opportunities for over five years.

In their spare time, they enjoy travelling around in their motorhome, visiting a wide range of places both in England and abroad.
