Region Peer Education Coordinator

The Region Peer Education Coordinator has been trained through Girlguiding's Peer Education scheme and encourages other Ranger members to become peer educators too. The role also includes organising Peer Education training for prospective peer educators and supporting peer educators in the region, as well as representing Girlguiding North West England's peer educators nationally.


Chloe has been a Brownie, Guide and Young Leader in and around Carlisle, proudly achieving her Queen's Guide Award and is now a leader with 1st Hayton Rainbows, Brownies and Guides with plans to open a Division Ranger unit after Easter 2021!  She's previously held a region role being Chair of Express! from 2017 - 2019, and is also currently the young person representative on the Region’s Award Committee.

Training as a Peer Educator in 2016, she has run over 30 sessions both in person and virtually across the UK, and also acts as the Cumbria North County Peer Ed Coordinator.

She is looking forward to seeing peer education grow in the region virtually and in person!
