Executive Manager

The Executive Manager is responsible for the strategy, governance, income generation, partnership work and the leadership of Girlguiding North West England’s staff.


Kelly's main areas of work are to strengthen the strategic plan and to monitor the delivery of the strategy across Girlguiding North West England by driving organisational performance and maintaining excellence. Her role involves developing innovative partnerships, generating income and introducing practical approaches, systems and processes that support senior volunteers to work together to deliver the strategic plan, as well as providing support to the chief commissioner and her assistants to facilitate their roles as the lead volunteers of the organisation.

Kelly has worked for a number of charities as both a volunteer and a staff member and has an MSc in Charity Resource Management which she completed at Sheffield Hallam University in 2014. She has been working for Girlguiding North West England since June 2015, initially as Region Manager (maternity cover) and is a volunteer with a Ranger unit in Stockport.
