Stepping into a new role - after teaching in primary school - Sally is now the Growth and Communities Coordinator supporting Manchester, Stockport, and Lancs SE to create more units and recruit volunteers. She enjoys empowering current leaders to be able to develop amazing opportunities, but also giving new volunteers the confidence they need to open new units and start their Girlguiding journey. 

When she isn't thinking up innovative and creative ways to spread the joy of Girlguiding, Sally enjoys playing the bassoon and singing in the choir. She also enjoys long walks and usually juggles several craft projects at once, from knitting toys and baby clothes to crocheting scarves and hats.
