Girlguiding North West England is committed to recognising the contribution its members make to our organisation. Our Region Awards Committee meets at least twice a year to discuss applications for members who have been nominated for our Region Chief Commissioner's Award, as well as nominations for the National Laurel, Silver Fish and Guiding Star Awards. We will also soon be launching a new award just for our inspiring young Members, our Region President's Award!
In addition to recognising the outstanding contribution of our members, Girlguiding North West England is committed to providing opportunities for our young members that are not only extremely rewarding, but provide them with skills and life experiences that serve to enhance their CVs and application forms in later years. The Duke of Edinburgh's and Arts Award are two of our most notable.
