We’re holding another leader social walk on Saturday 5 September at Anglezarke Moor and we’d love to see you there!
Start location/Time: Meet at 8:45am for a 9:00am start at the Anglezarke car park.
Information: A level 2 walk beginning at the car park at the eastern end of Anglezarke Reservoir, moving up onto the Anglezarke moor, then circling back past an old quarrying site. NO toilet facilities are available on this walk or in the car park.
Finish location/time: The walk is expected to end between 2:00pn.
Kit: Back pack/small rucksack, with a water proof cover (dry bag for personal belongings), fully charged mobile phone, completed Girlguiding health information form including emergency contact details, hiking shoes, suitable walking clothing (warm layers recommended, no denim or cotton jeans if possible), waterproof layer, spare socks, sun hat and suncream (if sunny), warm hat and gloves (if cold), water – approx. 1.5 – 2 L (more if warm weather is forecasted), sufficient food – lunch and snacks, personal first aid items e.g. blister plasters, any personal medication needed (e.g. asthma pumps, anti-allergy meds)
