Join us for another leader social walk in Broadgate, Grasmere!
When:Wednesday 12 August, 9:45am arrival for a 10am start.
Start location/time:10:00am start at Broadgate car park LA22 9TA. What3Words: //happily.fries.calendars
Information: To ensure the opportunity is open to all adult members the first section of the walk will be completely accessible, exploring the River Rothay from Grasmere. We will start with a mile walk on a fully accessible path. The second part of the walk will be a level 2 walk for those who would like to extend the day, up to Easdale Tarn and over Helm Cragg, returning to Grasmere by 4 in time for tea and cake.
Kit: We would recommend a small rucksack with a drink in a screw top bottle and a packed lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear (e.g. trainers or walking boots). Depending on the weather, you may also wish to bring sun hats/sun cream, waterproofs, a warm jumper or a windproof coat.
This walk is dog friendly. Dogs may need to go on a lead where required.
