SUMMARY:Leader Social Walks
DESCRIPTION:We’re holding another leader social walk on Saturday 6 June at Castleton and we’d love to see you there! \nStart location/Time: Meet at 9:30am for a 9:45am start at the car park next to Castleton visitor centre \nInformation: The walk is open to all adult volunteers\, not just those working towards a walking qualification. A scenic day walk open to all adult volunteers around Castleton in Derbyshire. The walk will involve meandering through Cave Dale beneath the vertical limestone cliffs and visiting the viewpoint at Hollins Cross. \nFinish location/time: The walk is expected to end between 2:30pm and 3:30pm. \nKit: We would recommend a small rucksack with a drink in a screw-top bottle and a packed lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear (e.g. trainers or walking boots). Depending on the weather you may also wish to bring sun hats/sun cream; a warm jumper or a windproof coat. \nThis walk is NOT dog friendly! \nAs there are a limited number of spaces for this walk\, once we have reached event capacity you will automatically be added onto a waiting list for when a place becomes available.
