SUMMARY:Safer Guiding
DESCRIPTION:Join our next Safer Guiding training which is being held on Wednesday 17 June from 7:00pm – 9:00pm \nDuring the session we’ll cover the role of the commissioner in managing concerns\, allegations and disclosures. If any of this content may be a concern to you\, please let us know in advance of the training. \nIn order to complete this course\, you will need to attend both sessions. \nFor more information and to book your place\, click here \nPlease note: As spaces are limited to 22 per session; please only register if you can definitely attend and ensure that there is strictly one leader from your unit attending. If you have completed the training within the last 3 years\, you do not need to redo the training. If you’re unsure when your renewal is due\, please check your record on GO\, or contact your commissioner. \nIf you’re a volunteer who has previously completed a safe space training\, you only need to do this course when your highest level of a safe space expires. So if you have a safe space levels 1 and 2\, you’ll only need to do safer guiding once your level 2 expires. This training must be renewed every 3 years. \nZoom Details \nIf you booked on the Learning Platform: The Zoom joining information should be emailed to you. Emails will be from noreply@learningpool.com \nIf you booked on Eventbrite: The Zoom joining information should be emailed to you. Emails will be sent from Eventbrite and should arrive 7 days before the session. \nIf you don’t think you’ve received the Zoom link\, please check your junk folder\, and contact northwesthq@girlguidingnwe.org.uk at least 2 working days before the session is due to take place.
