Girlguiding North West England enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world. We offer a programme of amazing opportunities for over 44,000 girls across the North West.
From taking part in our exclusive challenge packs, like Clever Cogs, which encourages more girls to get involved with STEM-based activities, to attending our large-scale events, like Energise, and our superhero event, Razaam, there's plenty for all sections and volunteers to get involved with - while meeting incredible new girls and women and having a barrel of laughs along the way.
Our young members are split into 4 sections; Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14), Rangers (aged 14-18) and Inspire (aged 18-30). The term ‘Guides’ is sometimes used to refer to all sections. All of our sections offer exciting, age-appropriate programmes, as well as a wide range of additional opportunities, such as once-in-a-lifetime events.
We welcome members from all backgrounds, ages, cultures, faiths and abilities.
