Support during COVID
This information has been taken from Girlguiding's document Support during COVID, updated 8th February 2021.
Adventures at Home
Girlguiding have been sharing an Activity of the Day on social media once or twice a week; releasing two virtual games per section per month; setting regular section-specific challenges and releasing wellbeing activities from the Peer Education resource ‘Think Resilient’. They've created 'How to' videos and released over 60 core programme activities across the sections. You can explore all the Adventures at Home resources, which are broken down by section.
A couple of digital UMAs have been released, specially designed for the virtual and social distanced environment. These include Black History Month and Remembrance Day.
Don't forget that there are currently reduced requirements for UMA theme award hours and Skill Builders until 31 July 2021; and adaptations to Interest Badges. For more information, see what's changed here.
More ideas from Girlguiding's partners and friends
If that's not enough, you can also access a range of Girlguiding partners' youth content, including some great activities from Odeon, Rolls Royce, British Cycling, the RAF and the Royal Astronomical Society.

Leader support
Girlguiding HQ have also produced a number of resources to support volunteers to deliver the programme and in the virtual and socially distanced environment, including example programme plans for virtual and socially distanced environment; programme plans for low resources; and badge planning sheets. There will also soon be a selection of annotated UMA and skill builder PDFs!
