DofE Expedition Supervisor Training Course

We're having a DofE Expedition Supervisor Training Day to provide DofE volunteers with a comprehensive understanding of their role and responsibilities, to ensure a high-quality expedition experience for all young people on the expedition. 

The one day course will give you an understanding of the roles of the Expedition volunteers and other adults involved. You will become familiar with the process of supervision and understand the importance of emergency procedures.

Time: 9.30 am - 4.00 pm
Venue: Girlguiding North West England HQ, Guiding Road, Preston, PR2 5PD

Cost: £5.00 (you can claim this back from your county, along with your travel expenses) 
 Lunch and hot drinks will be provided

Don’t forget to bring – Notepad, pens and enthusiasm

Pre-course Requirements

All participants should complete the DofE online e-induction module which can be found here,  and bring the letter of completion with them.

Please let your County Commissioner know that you are attending the event. Complete the booking form at the bottom of the information flyer, and send it together with a cheque to: Girlguiding North West England, Guiding Road, Preston, PR2 5PD. Please make cheques payable to ‘The Guide Association NWE.

The deadline to apply is Saturday 2 February 2019
