Sport Young Leader Training Day

Open / 12.45pm Saturday 31 August - 7.30pm Sunday 1 September / St Joseph’s RC High School and Sports College, Chorley New Road, Bolton, BL6 6HW

Do you want to give Guides and Rangers the confidence to get more active and connect with their community through sport social action?

With the support of The Sport England Potentials Fund, we aim to unlock the potential that young people have whilst developing the skills and experience they need for their future.

We’re now looking to recruit and train Rangers and Young Leaders (14-18 years), in sports leadership and support them in delivering the sports social action project in their local community.

We hold several young leader training sessions throughout the year. Our next fun-filled session will be in Bolton, and this time we're having a weekend of fun! It's our first ever Sport Young Leader Training Residential!

Join us where you will:

  • Find out how to use your enthusiasm to be a sport young leader
  • Learn how to plan and deliver exciting sport/physical activity sessions
  • Explore why these skills are important for delivering safe and engaging sessions
  • Learn about all aspects of Motivate and how you can “Take it further” in your local community

So what are you waiting for? Take the first step to becoming a Motivate champion today.
