County Staff Vacancy: Guys Farm Activity Centre Manager

Help us look after Guys Farm Activity Centre.

 

Want to get involved in an exciting, challenging role where no two days are the same? Why not become our Activity Centre Manager for Guys Farm. 

The site is owned by Girlguiding Lancashire North West and Lancashire West Counties and is situated in the village of Forton, close to the M6 and on the border of the Forrest of Bowland. It is ideally situated for trips to the historic cities of Lancaster and Preston, as well as days out to the Lake District and Blackpool.

A full-time Activity Centre Manager enables the site to remain usable all year round. It is suitable for all members of the Guide or Scout Associations as well as other youth organisations and school groups. There are also a number of voluntary instructors available to lead various activities, including; high ropes, abseiling, archery, paddleboarding (SUP) and canoeing. The Activity Centre will work closely with the volunteers.
