National Vacancy: Awards Committee Member

We’re currently seeking a new volunteer to join the Awards Committee

The Role

We're looking for a volunteer to play a key role in selecting the award nominations. Being part of the National Awards Committee involves contributing to the entire committee at meetings which are twice a year.

It's a great team to be in and a chance to see all the amazing things our members do to deserve the admirable Silver Fish, Laurel, and Guiding Star awards. What's more, you'll get to make important decisions about nominations.  You will also get a chance to promote Girlguiding’s national awards and provide guidance to the country and region awards committees and membership - great exposure!

We encourage our younger members to get involved as we see the importance of youth participation in shaping award nominations. The role would be perfect for our younger members who want to develop their leadership skills while representing Girlguiding North West England. It would be a great way to complete Element 4 of the Queen’s Guide Award.

If you have bags of enthusiasm and are looking for a fun, vital role - apply today!
