Peer
Education

Girls trust their peers – that’s why Peer Education works!

Are you enthusiastic and able to motivate?

We’re looking for volunteers from across the region to join a task and finish group focused on restarting and rebuilding our Peer Education offer!

In this role you will:

  • Attend meetings
  • Plan and deliver recruitment activities
  • Support the growth of Peer Education in your area
  • Support the training of Peer Educators
  • Support and signpost members looking for more information about Peer Education

Although it’s not required, experience working with those 14+, and experience as a current or ex-Peer Educator is ideal!

Interested? Please email cerys.hanson-jones@girlguidingnwe.org.uk

Peer Educators are 14-25 year olds who help Brownies, Guides and Rangers explore important topics.

We know that girls want to hear from peers who can share similar experiences. There are 3 main sessions that Peer Educators run in a fun, safe and challenging environment:

  • Think Resilient
  • Breaking Free
  • Save the World

If you would like to become a Peer Educator, please complete the below form and our Peer Education Adviser will be in touch.
