This year, we want more young members to experience going away. By the end of the year, we want 26% of young members in each county to have been on at least one residential trip during the year; whether that is for one night, two nights or even more!

How the challenge will work?

Every quarter in 2026:

• We will ask County Commissioners to let us know how many of your young members have been on a residential so far
• The Region team will then compile a county-by-county update and share it here… Fuelling some friendly competition and showcasing progress

At the end of the year

Counties who achieve the 26% target will receive a certificate to celebrate the achievement, and recognition across the region for your amazing efforts.
