Commissioner Support Workshop

We would like to bring our Commissioners together to Air & Share on common tasks and obstacles they face in the role. Through this we want to breakdown the role into tasks, timelines and roles to help build and support Division, District and County teams.

This would include:

• The long list of Commissioner tasks – Must haves, Should haves, Nice to haves
• A year in the life – map out when the tasks need doing across the year
• Commissioner timeline – 6 months, year 1, year 2, year 3, year 4, year 5 (+ last 6 months)
• DCs vs DCs vs CCs – what’s the same and different for all 3?
• Roles in a county/district/division team – who do you need?
• Knowledge sharing – e.g. a log of useful businesses to save time researching, spreadsheet of event spaces, etc.
• Resources needed – feedback on Commissioner Handbook and Commissioner A-Z.

We want you to join in the conversation and have your say, so we can create a truly personalised support system for our Commissioners in North West England.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please come along in uniform. There are good public transport options, with bus stops available close by and parking available at Region HQ.
