Our Social Action Project
Seasons of Sustainability
Introducing our new social action project, Seasons of Sustainability. From 2026 to 2029 we will be bringing our members fun, interactive, and engaging activity sheets that focus on new topics each season for our member to explore, discuss, and learn! Focusing on sustainability and climate change, these activity sheets will be a great experience for our members to find new, exciting ways to tackle climate change and help make a difference to our region.
We have worked with other organisations to bring these ideas together and make something truly inspiring for our members.
You will be able to complete these activity sheets alongside whatever you already have planned for your unit and if you’re interested in completing more, you can find more activities on our challenge and badges page!
Previous Social Action Projects
Period products for
homeless women
As homeless women* have limited or no access to period products, they are often forced to go without. Through this initiative, we can donate period products to help those most in need.
*We recognise that not all people who have periods identify as women, and not all women have periods.
Bras for Against
Breast Cancer
This project takes unwanted or unloved bras to raise vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research, as well as giving them a new lease of life in developing countries, where bras remain too expensive to produce locally. This venture keeps many families in developing countries out of poverty, whilst also employing people in the UK.
