Supporting members who are unable to attend face-to-face groups. All about having fun, making new friends, and earning badges.
With virtual guiding, the adventure continues online!
What is a cloud unit?
Cloud Units are a welcoming, inclusive space. We welcome anyone who cannot or does not want to attend in-person meetings. This is a safe space for any young member to participate in Guiding, feel included and involved, and reach their full potential!
Just like in-person units, young members will be able to take part in completing badges, playing games, creating crafts, and everything else – just virtually! The young members will choose what they want to do, and our amazing leaders will adapt the programme to ensure they’re accessible on Zoom.
Our Current Cloud Units meet weekly
Brownies (7-10) – Thursday 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Guides (10-14) – Wednesday 6:30pm – 7:45pm
Rangers (14-18) – Thursday 7:00pm -8:00pm
If none of these options are suitable, please get in touch.
We will be opening a Rainbow Unit as soon as we can!
Volunteer at a cloud unit
We are currently recruiting growth volunteers to increase the number of girls we can support through the Cloud Units. This role would include liaising with the Cloud Unit volunteers, contacting commissioners to increase the visibility of these units, and outreach to community places or charities for recruitment.
