The booking deadline for this event is Friday 24th April. For more information and to book your unit onto the event, visit our Eventbrite page here: Book Operation: Safari Conservation
In addition to an extensive Foot Safari – packed full of things to see and do, including rides and special activity stations – the 5-mile Safari Drive is open to explore.
Private coaches are welcome on the vehicle safari, although they are not allowed through the baboon or lion enclosure. There is a car-friendly alternative route which takes vehicles around the outside of the enclosure, which is also suitable for coaches.
Want to enjoy the vehicle safari but don’t have private transport within the site? Our friends at Knowsley Safari will be laying on double decker buses (capacity 70 persons) for pre-bookable Guided Safari Drive tours, exclusively for Girlguiding North West England members. These tours will last for around an hour and will have a knowledgeable member of staff on board to point out animals and share fascinating facts as you travel through the reserve.
Tickets for the Guided Safari Drive cost an additional £7.50 per person and are available now. They can be booked directly through this special Eventbrite page: Guided Safari Drive Tickets
Determined to get the full Baboon enclosure experience? Knowsley Safari also runs a ‘Baboon Bus‘ minibus tour, which is also pre-bookable at £7.50 per person. Baboon Bus tours are not exclusively for Girlguiding visitors, are subject to availability and must booked directly with Knowsley Safari at https://www.knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk/our-safari/baboon-bus. Tickets go on sale approximately 1-month before the date of visit.
Don’t forget… If you don’t wish to take part in the vehicle safari, you can still take part in all other elements of the day – including the foot safari, talks with keepers, bug walks and activity stations!
You can get to the park via walking, public transport, car, or taxi. For more information on how to get to Knowsley Safari Park, please visit their website here.
