This training is a chance to complete A Safe Space for 14-17 year olds through a webinar. This is open to all young leaders and young external volunteers.

To enable young volunteers to help create a safe space, this training will show you how to create a healthy, safe, welcoming and fun environment for every girl.

Objectives

By the end of this session the participants will:

• Explore and understand the Girlguiding code of conduct and how it applies to you.

• Discover the importance of treating everyone in your unit according to their needs and not having biases or favourites.

• Learn some quick tips for self-care while you’re volunteering.

Going Away With Training March 14, 2025

The East county cluster is hosting a Going Away With training

This training will take place at Springfield Park Activity Centre, Rochdale, and will begin at 9:30am.

The training is for qualified leaders wishing to undertake their Going Away With Qualification to take their unit on a residential, or leaders already qualified who would like a refresher.

This training has been opened up to everyone in the region, so please share this with your members.
