Region Team
Girlguiding North West England has a comprehensive team of volunteers who ensure the work of the charity is undertaken, led by the region chief commissioner and her two assistants. The volunteers are supported by a friendly and approachable staff team, who are based at our Region Headquarters in Preston. The staff team support the volunteers to ensure that Girlguiding North West England is operating in an effective manner and providing the best opportunities to our members.

Region Chief CommissionerThe chief commissioner is the lead volunteer for Girlguiding North West England and has overall responsibility for the running of the organisation and its volunteers.

The committee is responsible for ensuring that each application meets the criteria of the award as set out by Girlguiding and Girlguiding North West England.

The Council appoints the Patron, President and Vice Presidents, as and when needed, and agree on the recruitment process for the Chief Guide and participate in the selection and voting on her appointment.
